Apparently the problem is the usb soundcard I'm trying to use, which is a c-media something, won't work, because I need straigh rca to rca cables. The duel rca to 3.5mm converter's not gonna work here.

I have the 802 board so hopefully I can help. Make sure you have the RCA connections to the output and not the input on the board, and be sure the volume knobs are turned up for both the mains and the channel strip for your connected

@seb2314 Well I have 5 1/4 to 1/8 adapters. My victor reader stream was plugged into the second jack on the main row of 5, aka stereo line1, the first jack being the mono line input. And then I have the rca adapters plugged into the rca

I'm pretty used to these kind of setup and I'd be willing to help you out with it, however if you have skype it would be a lot easier

So I'm now using a new toy I got for Christmas, namely the bayringer zenix 502 5 channel mixer. It's not usb, it's an analog mixer, not only that, it uses the 1/4inch audio cables, so I got 1/4inch to 1/8inch adapters for it, and I have 5
