Can anyone please confirm that this fits on a standard rack widthways?

I use the Cambridge Soundworks 745 which accepts iPod (or Squeezebox)
via the phono aux inputs. Great sound for a compact unit. I notice
the newer models 745i and 765i come with bundled iPod dock. Looks are
more functional than stylish - may not be to your daughter's taste.

Presumably all the metadata is correct, too? It's 24/96 WAV so I don't think
there is any embedded metadata.

It's a SqueezeCenter plugin that allows the Squeezebox Classic /

I use it so that my Classic can power my amp on/off when I switch it

I asked there as well. Thanks.

Go with the audioengines for the iPOD, and source a gently used SONY
DISCMAN. I know I have one in the closet at home, so other's will as
well.

I know the TP can play 24/96 files that the SB3 cant.
But...playing regular FLACs ripped from Redbook CD, is there such a
great difference?
I'm investing in a better DAC (upgrading my Beresford - looking at the
Stello 100) and (just out of curiosity) I wonder what the difference

The link has been changed. I'm actually going to the UK early September
to confirm testing of our new remote audio console (the one in my pic to
the left). Peter Gabriel owns the company (Solid State Logic) and I'm
planning on spending some time with him at dinner one evening while I'm
there.
Any decent digital source will sound pretty much alike (the SB3 is
decent and from what I understand the TP is very decent).
I imagine it would be possible to hear a difference between an SB3
(analogue outs) and Transporter in the right system playing the right
recording. But this difference

Anyway, :)
I'd be using my SB3 through its digital out into a DAC. I've read
elsewhere in t'interweb that theres not really any difference with
redbook...obviously playing hi-res
I went ahead and ordered the Cambridge 745i. If it was for me, I'd get
the Audioengines (I already have two sets), but my daughter wants the
built-in CD player. It looks like a pretty decent system. Hopefully,
the sound will be adequate.

I though that you meant that the file frequency alone would determine
the clock-rate.
