I just read this again - that's just laughable - this reviewer thinks an
AV receiver is audiophile quality, but the analogue outputs of the
Transporter are not?
hahahaha.

Agreed, although there are more than just those two, and the article
shouldn't have to go on for 20 pages...

So you're saying Microsoft's claim that Windows is better falls on deaf
ears, in your case? ;-)

My SB3 is the most expensive part of my stereo. So I'm not going to brag
about it.
And my SBB as well...Is it wrong that my alarm clock is worth more than
most of my stereo

Dear GuyDebord,
Please confirm your finding that WAV is better than FLAC in terms of
sound quality. There are folks that are getting serious on this.

I'm amazed no-one's mentioned Mackie monitors yet. I've got a set of
HR624's, and they're absolutely fantastic.
Alternatively, Genelec monitors are almost universally acclaimed, so

The article says Sonos and Slim Devices both use very good
analog-to-digital converters in their products, which means you can
connect their analog outputs to a high-quality self-amplified speaker
system and get great results.
Surely they mean digital-to-analog convertors??

I have a paid of HR828 and they are fantastic. But, they are not cheap,
mine were about $1200 for the pair. They are pretty ugly, they are fine

I also have a pair of Swans M-200's (based on a recommendation from this
forum some time ago). They're serving as bedroom speakers right now,
hooked up to a Tivo and an SB2. Sound quality is (IMHO) excellent for
the price, and the build quality is also pretty amazing. Highly
recommended if you
