Go with the SB3. That's what I have for my hifi system. I do use an external DAC but this is not necessary at first. The SB3 DAC is decent but I get somewhat better sound with the external DAC (a Behringer DEQ2496, you can also use a SRC2496 which has the same DAC for about $100 less). Or if
