Since you mention REL, they actually recommend the use of speaker level
connections with a very low xover point. The argument is that timing
cues and the character of your amp will be picked up by the sub. Not
sure how that helps you though, as I assume the active speakers have
digital inputs dir

I'm using transporter with Berkeley Alpha DAC.
The Berkeley Alpha is very very good that exactly performed as what TAS
Robert Harley described and recommended even it was connected with

switched on.

saved in each Albums directory as "folder.jpg" or "cover.jpg". I think
any other file name requires some setup in Squeezeboxserver.

"Audio Always On" is also a nice feature if
1) Your Transporter is your preamplifier and you like to switch it
"off" for display reasons and you don't like that "bump".
2) Your transporter DAC drives your tweeters directly.

After speaking w/ tech support in Cali, the solution was to RMA the
unit. It should be there today. Thankfully, it sounds like they may
fix the unit at no cost. Typically, if the unit was a Logitech branded
box they would just swap it out. In my case, since it's an original
Slim branded unit,
