Two way systems allow buffering and reclockling. For example a

off and tweaks applied, and Im always curious about a DIRECT comparison
with theTransporter using same Dac, levels set, same cables etc.

I finally got a chance to try Touch in my main system. I don't disagree
with OP's assessment of Touch vs TP. When compared with TP + ECD-1,
Touch was severely lacking (it was very obvious in all types of music),
