Hi folks.
I just wanted to let you know, that I'm running a Windows 7 server now
- not just temporarily.
I've been running Linux systems for years... ...and never believed
that this would happen. Especially on the server side.
I currently do not manage to get the Linux (Ubuntu 10.10) driven

I've not tried your mods, but I can see why some of them might make a
difference, ie. they are at least plausible.
However, there is *no* way that the O/S running on the server, or the
type of network cables, or the brand of router have any effect
whatsoever on the sound emitted

Different symptom, but when I upgraded my Transporter firmware to fix a
problem where the Transporter asked to upgrade firmware everytime I
switched between streaming and the local server, the Koln concert files
won't play anymore at all. Haven't resolved yet.
