Honestly I'd love to see a DUET 3 kind of device. They should focus on a small, simple, no frill streaming black box. Main focus on sound quality. Probably won't happen. They are trying to hit the mass market, and the relatively cheap box with the screen is a good selling point. 99% of the

Of course there's a need for user interaction. But that's valid for a huge number of devices. I don't want to have the 10th remote or UI or keyboard on the table. The UI doesn't have to be built into a device any longer. That's just cranking up the pricetag. Many other manufacturers have

Thoughts? Pretty much impossible to diagnose from your description. However, I'd take the approach of 1) Test/get known good ethernet cables 2) Strip back the system to router/Server/TP and fire them up in that order. 3) Check TP functionality/run network diagnostic until that works 4)

To me it seems to me that the devices are still on separate subnets? Did the old and new routers use the same IP range or different? Did you ever use static IP's on any of the devices? I'd gop through and see what the IP and gateway is in use on each device then go from there. ~A -- alZmtbr

Hi Klaus, Do you think there is a way to increase the file buffer (not the audio buffer you are already setting) -- when the touch is playing, top shows around 71MB free ram...? Wouldn't it be interesting to cache the entire song file, essentially idling the network and taking it out of the

I would first start with Dlink. Go to Dlink setup, IP List and check if you see your HW on the IP List. If you see the transporter, try to ping the transporter e.g. from the FitPC. Therefore you know at least that the transporter is connected. An then switch on each HW one by one, and you must
