Hi,
Thats all good, I am happy with my latest mods, I have fed back the
settings to Soundcheck and hope the next release builds on TT3.0, if it
could have the sound of TT2.0 with the fidelity of TT3.0 then that would
be great. I found the TT3.0 default sound unbearable which is why I
started this
I swept now from TT 2.0 with Dynobots modes for 3.0, enabled all except
Display and focused first on PRIOIRQ47 with several numbers:
Higher values above 40 seems to flabby bass, so stucked back to 40.
I could also play with several other priorities, but Im not giving my
time for endless experime
Thanks for the advice. I will be going from single ended to the balanced
inputs on my amps as well, which I think will also take some time to
settle in.
I got the NFB-10SE. Kingwa kept telling me the sound was very
comparable and that it was the best value for money.
I'll get his advice on burn

Did this today :) all working but haven't had a chance to "listen" yet.
Will report back when I have.
Thanks for all the DAC suggestions

Give it about 50hrs running in before really sitting down critically to
listen to it, If my memory serves about 200hrs it took for mine to
settle in, after 40 it was still sounding rough.
Be patient I have almost given up on new stuff before it broke in,
(even getting ready to send it back) but I
I am keeping the priorioties from original TT 3.0
There is endless number of priorities combinations :), i don't have
time to try all of them ;)

Klaus,
Don't know if can use this feedback on the priority mods, I'll post it
anyway
have moved away from your suggested mods only as not suitable for
prolonged listening.
I set as many to sched_other and then added the processes back that
made a difference irq42, irq17, irq123 and irq102

I'm not aware that anybody reported "crackling" caused by TT3.0 since
its release.
Even buffer sizes changes usually won't cause crackling.
USB DACs attached to the Touch usually cause cracklings.
Maybe you got a problem in the network. You might want to verfiy that
everything is OK with your r
this is the output from TT file in USR/BIN:
PIDJIVEALSA=`pidof jive_alsa` #def: 45
#PIDJIVE=`pidof jive` #def: -
PIDSIRQTASKLET0=`pidof sirq-tasklet/0` #def: 89 interrupt handler -
should be higher then interrupts
PIDSIRQHRTIMER=`pidof sirq-hrtimer/0` #def: 40 htim
Have you turned off the "sounds" on the SBT ? This is a second alsa
process. Maybe it is causing some crcks ?
Are you sure you have no cracks without TT3.0 ?

Hi Guys,
I'm having trouble with crackling sound from my Touch since I'm using
TT3.0.
Changing the buffer size from 3400 towards 2 didn't stop crackling
significantly. I'm not losing lock on DAC.
On server side I'm using Fidelizer and TCP optimizer.
For test I change SBS to different HW using
