Hi, I happen to owned both the Transporter and a Naim DAC. Since then I have "upgraded" to dCS Debussy driven by Mac Mini and Pure Music. I never made a comparison between these DACs, but I still miss the Transporter for its excellent display and interface. And my memory of it, not having made

Server is running 24/7. When I just press on 'power' button on Transporter - display goes completely blank (off) Screen saver's definition - attached (I did not changed there anything during last few years) +---+ |Filename: screens

I agree that transport prices can get out of control. There are definitely ways to overspend on hi-end audio. And yeah, that's an understatement. For my purposes, I needed an SACD transport. It's the only legit way to get at the DSD encoded on the disc. It would be nice if there was a univers

Hi when I press on 'power', display is going off completely instead of showing date/time.. For about 4 years I use it, this happened few times, but disconnecting power helped it.. I think restart of the server also helped sometimes. What else can I do? Playback is fine. -
