Get one of these and you don't need a DAC with a USB connection.
They also do a version with a BNC connector.

Good idea. Then I would only need a new amp/pre with a SPDIF or BNC
connector
I'm just trying to do a good ABX on my existing system here.
I think the facts are with the majority's side. My experience of blind
listening was educational and humbling! However, there is a bit of
glibness going on I feel because I wager none of us listened blind when
choosing our loudspeakers.

Lately I've been exploring the world of 24/192 music. So far I must say
that I have yet to encounter a 24/192 track where there looked like
there was any musical content 50kHz!
I know of course one cannot hear up in those registers, but I'm not even
seeing anything that looks musical at all...
