(eliminating the need for a preamp). You might want to give
it a try.
By the way, I'm not a wacko audiophile. All of my normal friends
(wife included) would beg to disagree though. :)

Maybe your SB2 just need a little more burn-in time? There's also a
server setting where you need to specify No limit on the bit rate.
Having said that though, I prefer to use the digital out too.

Did I miss anything? By the way, this test is based on an article

Different power supplies are available depending on where you are. Just
specify this when you checkout the order.

If I remember correctly (it was mentioned in another thread somewhere),
the US power supply is only 100-120v while the UK power supply is
100-240v. I have the European one but I haven't checked the voltage
range.

My opinion to that would be yes, yes and yes. But like Sean says

different the
sound is between the components tested and also on the person doing the
listening. Some people obviously have better trained (or simply more
gifted) ears than others.

There is no logical explanation as to why wired vs wireless should
sound different.
Couldn't agree more.

there can be new
material,There's some but not much. For example, there's Mobile Fidelity:
http://www.mofi.com/ I have a Patricia Barber SACD from them and audio
quality is simply stunning. They release on vinyl too so I assume those
would be top notch as well.
