Ok, have had a shiny new Transporter up and running for all of 8 hours and am very happy with sound quality and most aspects of the interface (server could be better, but hey...)
However, have to say that behaviour of FF/RWD is at best useless, and IS a very annoying issue in my opinion. I have to agree with other people here that there is no need to implement a CD player style scan function. For me the ideal functionality would be, 1) The ability to skip forwards/backwards in 10, 20 or 30 second jumps 2) The ability to drop a marker which can be jumped back to repeatedly This should be accessable from the player and not just the server side of things.
