for sure. Sighted testing, where you know which
signal is which, is simply unreliable for audio.

There's no resampling going on, and the DAC is a nice Burr-Brown part.
It's an older, cheaper DAC, but it's still excellent.
You should solve your problem very nicely with a Squeezebox. If you
can tell a difference between the two, you'll probably prefer the
Squeezebox.

. If you want to use a sub, and it's driven with a sub
out signal from a receiver, you might as well just send a digital
signal. That'll give the receiver's DSP and DACs the cleanest possible
source to work with.
