I'm really interested to hear of further developments as I'm considering
a setup (when I get a TR or SB+ or SB3+DAC) which will go into the power
amp. I did this with my modified CD player which had external power
supply and volume control added.

(e.g. Boulder; SB+) compared with an SB2/3 and high quality DAC stage?

I'm also interested, and would appreciate feedback once someone has done
the listening test ... does it in fact provide a noticeable improvement
over using the SB's DAC stage.
