I would have to agree with most if all you have is $300 the Touch has a very good built in DAC. I found it to be comparable to my $600 NAD compact disc player. But if you doubled your budget I would look at the Moon D100 DAC its excellent for the price. $600 It outperforms all my other input equipment. Cheers.
