My dac has a display that shows the sample rate of the input signal.
It showed 48khz.

musically and in sound
quality. Tape hiss was quite intrusive, compared to many tape film
mastered RCA discs from the 50s and 60s that I have in other formats
(CD, SACD, XRCD, etc.) I have many 44.1/16 CDs that sound much better.
