So, let me get this straight...

You have received a faulty unit, evaluated it, and decided that it's not 
good enough?

Er, wouldn't you be better off getting a *working* unit and evaluating that?

Would you take a car out on a test drive, even though it was running on 
only 2 cylinders, and had the handbrake binding, then decide not to buy 
it because it wasn't fast enough??

The Transporter may indeed prove not to be to your liking but, from what 
you've said, you currently have no idea because you've only tested a 
faulty unit.
