Dedicated amp. Not sure I could go with that. having to change the SB input to the main amp to the headphone amp all the time. The cables and the sockets would get damaged over time. Unless I keep the digital coax in the DAC and the standard outs to the headphone amp? Would that work? --

Hi all I would love a pair of headphones - probably Grado - but my stereo probably like most of you is in front of the sofa. The issue is getting the headphones to the amp/source. I have looked at wireless but I'm not keen, mixed reports etc. So... any ideas how I can get a feed close to my

You will find a lot of info at head-fi. One thing you should look into is a headphone amp. The headphone outs in most amp/ preamps and the SB3 are not going to compare well with a dedicated headphone amp. The good news is that there are some great amps that won't break the bank. I got a
