Would any of you lucky Bay Area Transporter Owners be interested in attending a Head-Fi meet in Marin on Saturday October 14th?
Head-Fi, for those of you who are unaware is the meeting place for headphone hi-fi enthusiasts. Full details of the meeting are in this thread :- http://www6.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=199175 There will be plenty of High End headphones, headphone amps, and some external DACs available. I will be providing a couple of slimservers in operation with several hundred Gb of FLAC files as source material to drive any Transporters that make it. There will also be a Nokia 770 to add to the fun. SD staff are welcome, either in their corporate capacity, or just as interested individuals. If this sounds of interest to you, wed be happy to see you and your transporter.
