Also keep in mind the DC cord is much more important than the AC cord. Since the dc cord is after the power supply and any voltage regulation. Keeping the DC cord short is much better than any voodoo cable you can put on it. -- m1abrams

Alternatively - get a Phihong PSU AC adapter plate for an IEC cable. This makes the PSU a block in the middle PSU rather than a Wall-wart and you then buy a standard long IEC cable. For example see the item K (Phihong RPX-03) on RHS of this page http://ie.mouser.com/catalog/642/2103.pdf --
