Also keep in mind the DC cord is much more important than the AC cord.
Since the dc cord is after the power supply and any voltage regulation.
Keeping the DC cord short is much better than any voodoo cable you can
put on it.

Thanks Phil. I thought about that, but I have some nice aftermarket
cords that I'd like to put to use. Those cords are all 1.5m - not
long enough.

Having presumably spent a not inconsiderable amount of money on an
aftermarket AC cord, do you not think
Thanks Robin - that's what my post is about. I'm trying to find an
aftermarket DC-to-DC cord. Nobody seems to make one that has a 2.5mm
plug on both ends.

Feed that ego and you starve
You can plug your ac cord into an extension lead. Whatever voodoo the
cord does (basically, if it does anything at all it will be (emi/rfi)
noise reduction) it will still do. The presence of the extension cord
will make no difference.

I have a channel Islands audio PSU for my Touch, but the cord is too
short for my current needs. Does anyone make a longer DC-to-DC cord?
I checked Wellborne and Boulder, but they only offer cords with custom
connections for their PSU's.
I called CI Audio, and they can help.
Any ideas? I'm
Alternatively - get a Phihong PSU AC adapter plate for an IEC cable.
This makes the PSU a block in the middle PSU rather than a Wall-wart
and you then buy a standard long IEC cable.
For example see the item K (Phihong RPX-03) on RHS of this page

Just don't buy from Wellborne, he is a scam.
He has stolen money from many customers, happy to accept payment but
does not deliver anything.
Send emails where he telling lies that it is shipping but can not
produce any tracking info, after a couple of more mails he simply stops
