I am planning a two channel music system for the living room. It's fairly large and will use an SB3 as the source. After that, either a Nait/Totem or Spendor or Creek/Epos. A little more listening needs to be done.
For those of you who prefer the flat earth approach, how have you incorporated an SB into your systems? Is there a DAC behind it, or are you just using mods to improve the performance? I expect I'll want to upgrade from a stock SB3, with at least a PS upgrade from Bolder audio. If you're using a DAC what are you using and what don't you like? If I do a DAC the budget will allow up to about $1k US retail. One thing I don't want is a system that puts me to sleep (if you know what I mean).
