Can you clarify, you want a DAC with headphone socket (ie output) in
order to listen via headphone directly through the DAC? If you were to
listen to headphone through the amp then any DAC would work. However
there is a smaller list of headphone compatible DACs. My current
favourite is Fubar
What are you recommendations for a DAC that with will not only offer
improvement over the SBT dac would also offer improvement when plugged
my Sehnheiser 595 headphones directly into my Arcam A85 amp.
Budget up to £300.00
I know there is a Beresford model.
