Hmm- TP here in South Africa directly from logitech agents who brought
one in for me especially , was $1500 equivalent, We have VAT of 14% and
I incurred further costs transporting it 1600km from agents to me ,
still under $2k.

Not really, you can easily get a round trip ticket for 200-220 pounds
if you book it 2 weeks in advance, and for the accommodation, I guess

sites for a price...here in UK the retail is about £1250+.
Slim Devices advertise it for $1999.
now, i am a very keen audiophile BUT i'm damned if i am going to pay
£1000 + for the Transporter here in ripoff Britain!.
