I suggest you have a look at Media Monkey. I use Media Monkey to manage my 68,000 track library of mainly FLAC files. Media Monkey will also synch to ipods and many other MP3 players or external drives. Part of the synch functionality allows you to transcode on the fly. So, when I synch my ipod

Do you find that using the multi-encoder plugin with dbpoweramp slows down the ripping process quite a bit? I have a quad core processor, but when I do multi-encoding, dbpoweramp doesn't seem to be able to multithread like it does otherwise. I'm just wondering if maybe I don't have something set

Have a lossless library that is mirrored in a lossy format. I use dbpoweramp to rip to both FLAC and mp3 in one pass using the Multi Encode plug-in. They are stored in separate directories where everything is identical except the file type... Music/FLAC/Artist/Album/Filename.flac Music/MP3/Artis

Hi All, Was wondering if anyone can help me understand how to manage a digital library that gives me the lossless quality at home, but the space management of lossy files on the go... I currently have my entire collection ripped to lossy LAME MP3s at a reasonably high bit rate... But I am looki
