Ditto - the ran out of decoder data memory error message is the one
that usually shows up when inadvertently trying to play full 5.1 flac

had some success in reconverting the files to Flac -0 (least

Are you using the oficial flac tools ? or something else (avoid winamps
encoder)

assorted amps SiriuS, Classe' Primare and Dynadio speakers,
Almost all of my FLACs are encoded at -8 and the rest at -5 - never had
a problem on the Touch. Now running a 7.6 beta, but was also OK with
7.5.x
