It looks like a well-built and reasonably-priced solution, mostly for
video playback.
For someone with a bunch of mpeg or DivX shows or movies on a hard

player, they consentrated on the visuals.
Couldn't find anything relevant on sound quality, but if jitter is OK

IMO the WM8740 is a serious contender. Too bad they don't say which
one they use in the X5000.
If you look at the MCP Club review, it is a WM8728 chip.
