The Anthem AVM 50 pre-amp, when in analog mode, and in direct 2 channel mode, bypasses the pre-amp with an exception to the digital volume control (Anthem). Considering this, do you still recommend I give it a try? Thanks guys, Mark -- yooper ---

Mark - you don't want to use the DAC in your Anthem unless you think it sounds better to your ears than the TP DAC! (unlikely IMHO) Don't worry about the BNC/AES stuff - If you wanted to use an external DAC, some of them give you a choice (most just use RCA/phono) Regards Phil -- Phil Leigh --
