So far, the only component of this meme that has been universal is
buy a Touch. Beyond that opinions vary considerably as to what
additions are necessary before a person can truly enjoy their music. I'm
quite happy to be in the camp that doesn't require much beyond pressing
the play button. ;-)

The guy who said buy a good DAC is right, that has to be #2, even before
the PS or TT3.0
However, one very important point of TT3.0 is the ability to kill the
display processes. Not the same as making the screen black. But probably
not as good as disconnecting the whole LCD display as well as
