It's not as flexible as the foobar ABX app, but ages ago Malcolm Wotton
posted a nice little Perl plugin for comparing WAV vs. FLAC, and I
think the later version also compared MP3. Someone may be able to adapt
it to other comparisons.

I've thought about this before. You could use it to ABX test various
encodings/formats for lossy music.
The problem is all the stuff I want to ABX is physical
(speakers/placement), not software.
