As the founder of AIX Records and the developed of iTrax.com, an HD
Audio download, I'm quite interested in any thoughts about 5.1 surround
tracks. We offer Dolby Digital, DTS, WMA Pro and WMA LL as well as PCM
but have not yet decided on the viability of FLAC. It seems for the MAC
users out that
I believe they are two channel, but I honestly don't know. How would
you play a 5.1 FLAC? In any case, they sound good aside from the
"static" issue I'm having. I think I'll post on the SC7 beta area and

Are these FLAC files actually mulrichannel surround format? (FLAC
supports up to 8 channels.) Or are they stereo?
So far as sound quality, I've downloaded several Linn albums, some at
24/96, a few at 24/44.1 and the rest at 16/44.1. All of the downloads
produce wonderful sound. I wish Linn's
