well I posted this earlier when I still had my SB3.

I was sitting in front of my hifi and after some hours of critical
listening I started to think, that the sound was getting more and more
MP3-ish - digital sounding. But all my files are WAV files.

So I disconnected the SB3 from the mains and replugged the cable. From
this moment the sound was top-end again (at least for some hours).

Now with the transporter, I also had this issue a couple of times. And
this also happened when some friends were over at my place and they
also took notice of the improvement when disconnecting the power source
for some seconds...=?

Is there really a possibility for such an error?

Then I also use the digital optical input ot the transporter for
connecting in my PC sound card (24 bit / 96 Khz, creative-labs X-FI).

How can I stop the digital input stream and get back to slimserver
playing?

There really is no "STOP" option for the digital inputs?

So when I go back to play my WAV-files, I sometimes still hear some
"digital noise" when actually no sound is playing?

Also I get sometimes continuous strange digital (sounds )noise on the
TP output, when the TP was off and the last thing played was the
optical digital input and I switch it on again?

Any ideas`?
