If I remember correctly, they are auto-selecting the input voltage windings for the linear supply. This was to make it possible to work on both 120 and 240 volts without manually setting an input switch. -- SuperQ SuperQ'

getting on great with the new Transporter but what is whirring /switching inside the box...it sounds like a relay switching over.i didn't realise that there were any moving parts inside really not tempted to open the box up yet!. waiting on Progressive's Ver 7 to upgrade the Qnap 109 Pro. che
