yajl-ruby and redcloth are two of the packages I maintain currently.
To follow the package naming conventions, I'd like to prefix both
pkgnames with ruby-. I've already submitted/adopted the new packages
to AUR, so here's for removing the yajl-ruby and redcloth packages.

can someone explain to me how this guys scripts [1] are supposed to
produce working packages?
Unless i am missing something, i'd have to use black magic in order to
obtain the source which isnt even available in the sourceforge SVN of
the projects.

zpacman (for example) is included in the archive that comes with the
PKGBUILD. It's a shell script, so there's nothing to build or retrieve,
therefore it just installs it where it should.
However, you're right, that's not the way a PKGBUILD is supposed to work: it
should retrieve the zpacman shell

$startdir should never be used, and checksums of source files must be included.

variables in ~/.subversion/server . Why the PKGBUILD template override
this location with current dir by default ?
Is it bad to drop --config-dir ./ in my PKGBUILD ?
