There's a major version bump pending now for a very long period and
user request come up every now and then requesting the update to the
current 2.4.x branch.
The current maintainer seems to have no time or interest to work on
this in the near future. So someone else should pick this package up

Xorg-xfs has been removed from our repos.
The following driver rebuilds are still missing: sisimedia, unichrome.
And I've received a report about broken -nv driver pkg not working with
1.13.

The upcoming LibreOffice 3.6.x drops the dependency on (java) lucene
2.9.x. We can drop java lucene from our repos if nobody
else wants to take over the maintainership of java lucene in the future.
I'd like to bring in clucene from community and fix a missing feature.

New mesa requires llvm to build and run gallium based drivers. So we
need to move llvm to extra (current TU maintainer Evangelos Foutras).
Who's going to maintain it in extra? I don't have any interest in it. I
will have to wait until it is moved before I can update the Mesa
packages.

Just a small note that we will move poppler rebuilds right after the
MySQL move.
So far I only know of one broken pkg in community where a fix is
available: epdfview - https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/22734.
Can somebody with community access test it and fix the bug?

Today I asked Allan to remove 2 packages from AUR: catalyst-beta and
catalyst-utils-beta.
I know the situation of the catalyst driver packages isn't in the best
state. But breaking laws and license agreements can't solve this in a

upcoming Xfce 4.6 release. They will move together to extra.
