Would love to see some comments about Avalon Airshow from a Gliding
community perspective. I assume there were at least some static displays. I
hope they went well, etc...
I hope Johan Gustafsson was able to do his thing and that is was well
received?

Incidentally, many years ago, I recall a fellow club member having a cockpit
fire in his glider due to an electrical fault, which resulted in the burning

seaters so guess rear fin battery may need 14gauge.. Fuse quality can also
cause voltage drop and in rare occasions switches. With 3 batteries I
like a C&K 7211 switch which you can call ON ON ON a 3 position switch.

That is an option but you miss out on the sight line level display
and controls with an excellent backup (or primary) nav/wind/glide
computer. The screen has excellent contrast under all light conditions.
Easier to change MacCready/bugs/ballast and send them to any other
device running XCSoar.
Alan have you ever used Mike's Glareshiel Display??
I use mine IN CONJUNCTION WITH an XC soar display and I know which one i
trust regards final glide and the wind calculation!!!
