You're right. It should be a great season. We just don't have enough
instructors though (me & one other) and my Xcountry ambitions are being
constantly thwarted.

airways clearance was only to 10,000ft and cross country opportunities
beckoned but were unrealised due to instructing commitments.

Well, I flew my Motorfalke 180 km's yesterday (yes, with the engine
off!) in 2.5 hours (72 km/h).
Might not sound like much, but in an 18:1 aircraft, I'm impressed,
even if noone else is :)
(Had a ball - yesterday was one of those very, very good days in
weather terms in SA - what a great day
