Pilots have asked me to comment on the latest
version of the V2ct glider, also the Avionic trailer in which it came to
Australia.
Firstly the Polish Avionic trailer is similar in
all respects with the Cobra brand except that it is some thousands of dollars
cheaper. It uses the
Did a 500 km flight yesterday, Gawler-Quorn-Gawler. Yay!
It took me 7 hours! I required 5 hours to get to Quorn and 2 hours to
return, to give you an idea of the headwind (average 20 knots if not
greater). I flew a lightly ballasted (60 kg) Discus B VH-IUI. Best height
