confirmed entries as yet from interstate - they all seem to confirm at the last
minute. Most years a few come in for a week of fun - everyone gets a

What is interest like in the Masters Games in Alice Springs? I was
reading through the list of sports (looking for basketball) and came
across "Gliding" as a sport. It's interesting that the cut-off age is 35
years (ie minimum)

I was reading an account of the GNZ AGM, in which it became apparent
that our NZ friends are on the path to a PPL(G), about which there
appears to be little contention. In constrast, I remember that 'our' GFA
was adamantly opposed to the RPL proposal (for reasons I still fail to
understand).
