[Aus-soaring] Cambridge S-nav - 5v out?

G'day all,   I am soon to take possession of a glider fitted with S-nav.  Is there a 5v power supply from it that I can use to power my Ipaq?  The manual indicates 5v supply for GPS and secondary display.  Can I use one of these without drama?   Thanks,   Ben ___

Title: Message Hi Ben,   Check that it can deliver at least 500ma of current without the unit overheating or destroying the 5 volt regulator as PDA's can draw at least this current especially if they are recharging the internal battery, mine peakes at 700ma!   I would suggest building a 5 vo
