For those who havn't logged on to the QLD state comps site at www.sdasc.org.au go and have a look at the photo's. Pretty much covers the event - what a comp, best day was cruising at 13,500ft and still not touching the clouds! Looks like the Nats might get the same weather. Cheers Nigel Email

The ES59 elevator connection is an AVDEL Pip Pin. AVDEL is now part of Textron, however I believe they no longer manufacture the pins. Fortunately they are now manufactured by another group in the UK: http://www.nordet.co.uk/pip_pin.htm The pins were originally developed for aviation use. A lo
