We have just introduced a range of sunglasses designed for soaring pilots.
They are a wrap around style for UV protection, have interchangeable lenses
for different light conditions.
Lenses are polycarbonate and shatterproof.
There is five styles including one that has a clip in prescription
The sunglass thing depends whether you need correction or not. If not
it's easy. Just buy a pair that suit you.
I've tried Suntigers (awful - lose all colour sense and see the world
as yellow tinted mono chrome, also fail to see paddocks full of
Salvation Jane aka Patterson's Curse) and Ol'Ea
I see Mr Weber is still trying to claim the
"Mandl Air Extractor " is something new.
Both Wil Schuemann and George Moffat were keen on
these although of slightly different form and I'm
pretty sure George mentioned somewhere that if
you didn't organise an exit properly the air was
going to c
We will shortly have available EW MicroRecorders with Engine Noise
level sensor enabled and SD card memory storage(no need to pull the
logger out of the glider much of the time) at a new low price
currently A$1100 ex Toowoomba taxes paid.
They have an internal battery that will run the logger
