Can anyone advise with precision on the GFA requirements for glider insurance to enter competitions these days? Nicely put John! One other company that insures gliders in Australia is AssetInsure. I think it is Swiss based, but it is well represented in Oz. This company will not deal directly with the clients i.e. you and me, so you must deal with them through a broker. So give them a ring and find out w

I have had an enquiry through the Gliding Queensland website re Kingaroy Soaring Club's original short-wing M2 Kookaburra (was VH-GLG). It was purchased in 1958 by the North Coast Gliding & Soaring Club (which later became KSC) and was sold in early 70’s. The rego GLG is now on a powered aircraft w
