There seems to be some support for routine medical examinations for
glider pilots rather than the current system of self-declaration for solo
pilots and medical exams for charter pilots in Appendices 1 and 2 of the GFA Opregs.

they advance in age or for any other reason, I think that makes sense but it’s
entirely up to the individual. I wouldn’t like to see this become a mandatory
requirement for all glider pilots because it will increase the cost and
