Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., of Stratford,
Sikorsky is part of United Technologies Corporation (UTC) which also owns
Hamilton Sunstrant, Pratt Whitney, Carrier and OTIS Elevator Company.
I work for the latter, and we make elevators which achieve climb rates of 10
kts (5m/s) up or higher. The highest being around 25kts in some VERY tall
