yeah, i am pretty keen to try that also. Word from Europe is that if you fly at or under 100kts most of the time the D2 is actually a better performer. It has to be run up around 100-120 kts to really have any advantage. At least thats what they are saying. Makes some sence, more wing area, lowe

Mike, I have owned 4 gliders, 2 of them flapped so I understand what you mean by the benefits. You should fly this glider though to see what I mean. I didn't take it over 100 knots in the cruise to see the high speed performance but in the climb it is trully outstanding. Jim From:  Mike Borg
