RIGHT, There was a hundred and fifty of us living in a Grunau, in the middle of the airfield, we had to get up in the morning, half an hour before we went to bed, clean the Grunau , and then go and work on the winch,unpaid, and when we got home our dad would thrash us to sleep with a tie down peg..

Yeah, an we had to drink out of puddles on the airfield and if we ran out of baked beans we had to catch a few carp, cook'em over old dope tins then sleep with the cats in hangar 56.. Get up, sign the flying sheet, DI the winch and the model 'A' and start all over again.. JR wrote: RIGHT,
