Thanks to a couple of people who gave me Bert's contact number I called
him up and had a long chat.
He kindly shared lots of his knowedge about Blaniks and his love of
metal aeroplanes.
I forgot to ask him if I could put something on the internet about what
he told me.

It is the cables that go from the trim tab back into the fuselage.
There has to be an easier way of doing this ? Maybe I will have more luck
if I just go out and get some new cable although structually nothing is
wrong with the old stuff.
New cables come with a nice pointy end without an
