Ah, that is what my problem was!. Blaniks do have a variable trim tab system. I had the A/C trimmed for 45knots as per normal which with a heavy weight up front would have been have been more than 1/2 back.. Will try full forward trim and report back next time I have height to waste (not very often mind you!)
