I'm fairly sure field techs have to ring through to an offshore team for
fibre splice checking / approvals already. So they have some crews overseas
now for several years (unless this has since been onshored, though I'm
doubtful).

Nope. I've asked for an RFO/PIR for the outage, and been put in the queue
for when they actually produce it.

last outage update, which is just that UPS-A is being replaced, nothing on
whether this is service impacting or anything like that.
